Third MARISSA Symposium to be held in Bremerhaven

The Third International Symposium on Maritime Safety and Security Applications (MARISSA) will be held on June 21st and 22nd in Bremerhaven, Germany.

The conference programme will revolve around measures to ensure the safe and sustainable conduct of businesses in shipping, ports, maritime transport and logistics, fisheries and offshore production, green energy, and environmental monitoring.

According to the organisers, the need for a reliable, safe, and sustainable development of trade and transport has never been more visible and obvious than in today’s strategic and economic turmoil. Therefore, establishing and maintaining a solid and robust maritime safety and security regime is an undisputable must for all maritime branches.

The Free Hanseatic City of Bremen together with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and the German Association for Marine Technology (GMT) are looking forward to welcoming international experts, decision makers, researchers and industrial systems providers to this two-day event.
