Försterling new board member at Sloman Neptun

Following the recent retirement of Dirk Lohmann, a long-standing member of the executive board, Guido Försterling was appointed to the executive board of Sloman Neptun Schiffahrts-Aktiengesellschaft on May 1.

Försterling, who was most recently a member of the board of German Dry Docks AG in Bremerhaven and previously held a management position at DNV GL, will in his new position at the Bremen shipping company focus on the areas of technology, nautical science, QHSE and personnel.
Founded in 1873, the shipping company operates a fleet of gas, chemical and product tankers as well as ro-ro and multipurpose vessels. The fleet currently comprises 23 units. Sloman Neptun Schiffahrts-Aktiengesellschaft has around 500 employees on land and at sea.
