Change in top management at Voith Group

He will be succeeded by Stephan Schaller, currently head of the global
motorcycle division of BMW Group and a member of the Voith Shareholders’ Committee. The change will take place on April 1st, 2018, when Lienhard will take Schaller’s current seat on the Shareholders’ Committee.
Schaller, born in 1957, read mechanical engineering at Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule before joining BMW group where he held a number of positions. He then joined Linde AG’s refrigeration division before becoming
head of production for the commercial vehicle division at Volkswagen AG in 2004. Since 2007, he has been chairman of the Board of Management of commercial vehicles at Volkswagen. In 2010, he became vice chairman of the Executive Board of Schott AG and two years later, he was appointed head of BMW’s global motorcycle division.
