Spanish maritime services company, Boluda Corporacióm Maritima, has celebrated the opening of its Netherlands and north European headquarters in Rotterdam’s iconic Maritime Quarter.

The building was inaugurated by Vicente Boluda Fos, the company chairman, together with a number of senior executives and representatives from the shipping sector in both the Netherlands and Spain.

North European business is a key element of the company’s worldwide network, both for Boluda Towage and Boluda Shipping. The towage business began in Germany nine years ago and has since expanded into Belgium, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway and the UK, with Rotterdam becoming one of its principal operating hubs.

Meanwhile Boluda Shipping boosted its regional presence in 2023 with the introduction of frequent short-sea services between the Iberian Peninsula and the Netherlands, UK, and Ireland.

Ignacio Boluda Ceballos, executive chairman of Boluda Shipping, commented: “Our business model delivers integrated logistics solutions by connecting maritime transport, terminals, rail and road into a coordinated supply chain, providing flexibility, efficiency and end-to-end support for our customers.”

Verónica Boluda Ceballos, Boluda Corporación Marítima,CCO, added: “These offices bring our teams together in one of Europe's leading maritime hubs and reflect the collaborative spirit that continues to drive our international growth.”
