New gantry cranes for Port of Algeciras

ZPMC gantry cranes

They are to be set in the first semiautomatic container terminal in the Med that will be operated by Total Terminal International Algeciras (TTIA) at Isla Verde Exterior.

The first 4 ship-to-shore cranes (out of a total of 8) built, as well, by the Chinese company ZPMC for TTIA are said to arrive at Algeciras Port by mid December.

TTIA (Hanjin subsidiary company) plans to start operations at the Port of Algeciras Bay during the first semester of 2010.

The first six gantry cranes out of a total of 32 have arrived at Algeciras Port (Spain).
