Industry tie-up provides information about test facilities

Ship agency firm, S5 Agency World, and maritime technology specialist, Voyager Worldwide, have announced a new service to simplify crew changes by providing details of virus test facilities available worldwide through Voyager’s Fleet Insight service. Operational personnel, superintendents and other staff can now access details of Covid-19 testing facilities in ports and countries around the world, including booking requirements, service availability and cost.
The ship agency company, through its network, has compiled details of testing facilities available for seafarers. This information, integrated into Voyager’s Fleet Insight, can now be displayed on a geographic information system map, C-MAP or Admiralty Vector Chart Service electronic navigation chart. It can also be provided in tabular form together with vessel-specific information, including position, destination port and estimated time of arrival.
