Marlink and Radio Holland forge closer links

The new arrangement will give both companies’ customers access to a wide portfolio of broadband connectivity services, notably in VSAT communication. The two companies will also work closely together to develop new digital applications to meet the evolving needs of maritime customers. The transfer of Radio Holland’s connectivity business will strengthen Marlink’s position as a multi-band communications provider with annual revenues close to $500m and about 5,000 VSAT vessels under contract.
“The agreement is a win-win for all parties involved,” declared Erik Ceuppens, Marlink Group CEO. “Together, we will provide our customers with best-fit and future-proof connectivity solutions. Radio Holland’s customers will experience a seamless transition to Marlink’s network, where they will enjoy the best-in-class maritime VSAT service of the industry.”

Marlink and Radio Holland have strengthened their existing relationship through a partnership agreement in which Marlink has acquired Radio Holland’s connectivity business, and Radio Holland will be Marlink’s preferred sales and service partner while focusing on its core activities of providing efficiency navigation communication, information communication technology (ICT) and maintenance systems.
