LNG bunkering project in Singapore

The project is conducted in collaboration with the Clean Technology Centre of the classification society Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and 21 industry partners.
The JIP kicked off with the aim to provide recommendations to the Singapore government authorities to enable LNG bunkering in Singapore, ensuring operational safety, alignment with industry expectations and best practice and compliance with relevant international rules, regulations and standards. The LNG bunkering JIP was conceived to reaffirm Singapore’s commitment towards maritime sustainable growth. It is said to represent a platform in which a consortium of industry players collaborates with each other to share knowledge on the topic and indentify and recommend solutions to the issues faced by the sector.
