Another 82 ships committed to Hanseatic Unity Chartering

The move reflects continuing consolidation amongst German owners and further rapid expansion for Hanseatic Unity which already manages the fleets of its partners Borealis Maritime, Bernhard Schulte and Reederei Nord.
A Hanseatic Unity statement said: "It is the aim to continue the successful path of Hanseatic Unity Chartering offering better services to its customers in form of 'one stop marketing' for a diversifed fleet of well-maintained vessels from financially sound owners."

Fleets belonging to German owners Leonhardt & Blumberg and Asiatic / Atlantic Lloyd joined Hanseatic Unity Chartering on July 1st, bringing the commercial manager’s fleet to a total of 233 vessels for worldwide trading, comprising 206 container vessels of sizes between 700 TEU and 9,300 TEU, and 27 bulk carriers ranging in size from 33,000dwt to 93,000dwt.
